What is "The Order of the Stone"?

The Order of the Stone is a modpack that aims to be an alternate timeline Minecraft experience. So, What if?. . . .

What if Notch never left? What if Notch never sold to Microsoft? What if Notch Added everything on his to-do list?

That's what this Project aims to be. This is a total overhaul of continuity, making features that are useless useful, Also adding features that just belong in minecraft. This is a mix of classic features that shouldn't have changed, and modern features that feel like Notch would've added as the chief creative developer.

• Nostalgic Tweaks! - Many changes to make the game feel like Classic minecraft. Overhauled sprint system, Overhauled Enchanting, NO swimming, Classic 2d items, and much much more!
• Seasons System! - A dynamic year system that changes biome colors, weather, and crop growth as time progresses.
• Custom terrain and new biomes! - New diverse terrain via Cascades!, a mix of modern terrian height, and old unique terrain mending the old with the new! New biomes based off of old Beta biomes, like Rainforest, and Seasonal forests.
• New dimensions! - New Nether and End Slip dimensions along side the classic aether, and a new super secert above the Nether!
• New contraptions! - New redstone components to make inventive machines!
• Unhindered Creativity! - Hand picked collection of new blocks and decorations to express your deepest machinations!
• Overhauled progression - No more punching trees, Beds are harder to craft, Expanded top tier tools!
